Law Student Outreach Committee

Law students have always been a very important part of NYDLC's membership. NYDLC provides opportunities for law students to assist with pro-voter legal research, participate in election monitoring efforts, meet with lawmakers, and assist Democratic campaigns. NYDLC works closely with vibrant chapters of Law Dems and like-minded groups at many New York and Ivy League law schools.

NYDLC provides these groups with opportunities for their members to get involved in voting rights initiatives and campaigns and can help develop educational materials and recruit speakers for events. Our groups collaborate to provide voter protection training and other programming on campus and connect like-minded chapters to others around the U.S. Working together, we are building the next generation of pro-voter advocates!

Have ideas for programming or questions? If you are part of a Law School organization that supports voting rights or a Law Dems chapter anywhere in the U.S. and would like to learn more about working with NYDLC, please contact our Committee Chair at [email protected].

If you are a Law Student and would like to be connected to your school's chapter or serve as liaison between your group and NYDLC, we want to hear from you! To see NYDLC's upcoming events, visit our EVENTS PAGE.
