Election monitoring is central to NYDLC's mission. Our voter protection program helps ensure that all eligible voters are able to cast a ballot without difficulty or intimidation and have their votes accurately counted. NYDLC helps to organize and advise on these efforts in support of Democratic candidates who stand up for voting rights at all levels of government and across the country.

You can help NYDLC protect the vote by committing to serve as a monitor on Election Day. All attorneys, law students, and non-attorney voting rights advocates are welcome to participate. We conduct comprehensive 1-hour training sessions, so prior experience is not necessary. Click here to join this important effort.
